With this in mind, we regularly visit exhibitions, conferences and other industry gatherings – also online. Meanwhile, our Energy Policy Dialogue offers a platform for discussions with politicians.
Whether it’s at E-world, IRO, gat, regional network operator gatherings, or the major annual forums for energy policy: You can meet us personally or online and give us your thoughts wherever we are. We use all the events we attend to learn and to gain new impulses for our future business. Our specialist colleagues are also happy to visit smaller exhibitions, where we are able to contribute our expertise.
The future starts now! "Pipes and cables – conduits for a modern infrastructure". For the energy transition to be successful, the electricity and gas networks will have to be further expanded. On 13 and 14 February 2020, OGE presented itself in a new look at the 34th Oldenburg Pipeline Forum, the annual industry meeting, also known as "IRO".
Three exciting trade fair days in words and pictures: The current topics of green gases, such as hydrogen, power-to-gas or the essential importance of the gas infrastructure for supply security in Germany shaped our discussions.
The Energy Summit 2020 in Berlin will gather the faces of the energy industry live on stage and provide an opportunity to discuss important issues critically and constructively. You will have the chance to talk to OGE representatives. On 21 January, our CEO, Dr Jörg Bergmann, will take part in a panel discussion on power-to-gas, green gas, hydrogen and the regulatory framework.
Be inspired by climate protection pioneers and discuss the central challenges of the future: In 2019 the OGE stand offered an active programme on the very first day and attracted the attention of numerous visitors.
On 5 September 2019, Open Grid Europe hosted its sixth "Energy Policy Dialogue" at Zeche Zollverein in Essen. Around 170 guests, including members of the European Parliament, the German Bundestag and the North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) state parliament, followed a lively panel discussion on the role of hydrogen in the transition to a sustainable energy system.
