Publication of a second market information package

Based on a new market information package, the operators of the hydrogen core network, including OGE, will launch a coordinated process for reserving initial hydrogen core network capacities on March 19, 2026. This will enable companies to secure the entry and exit capacities required for their supply relationships at an early stage in the future.

Appointment of the hydrogen market area manager by the hydrogen transport network operators 

In accordance with section 1 of the Federal Network Agency's ruling on the hydrogen balancing and accounting model (WasABi) dated October 27, 2025, the hydrogen transport network operators appointed Trading Hub Europe GmbH (THE) as the hydrogen market area manager on December 8, 2025, within the specified time limit. THE accepted the appointment on December 12, 2025.
